Every hand-off automatic, every rule enforced, every decision on the record.

Progress Group runs nine service lines under one roof: bookkeeping, corporate tax, personal tax, insurance and risk, wealth management, fractional CFO advisory, mortgage, real estate and estate planning. Each had its own team, its own procedures and its own corner of the firm's systems.

The firm wanted an AI operating layer as internal infrastructure: agents doing the repeat work inside every vertical, the hand-offs between them happening automatically, and every rule that protects clients and the firm enforced by the system rather than by memory.

About this case study

All screens use sample names and figures; no client or financial data from the firm is shown. This case study describes the platform we designed and built, not measured business results.

  1. 01

    Honeycomb orchestrator

The supervisor that routes work across nine verticals and four departments, runs the cross-sell engine and keeps one master client record.

  2. 02

    Agent estate

Specialist agents for every service line's standard procedures, plus sales, marketing, HR and IT agents under the same rules.

  3. 03

    Forensic audit layer

An immutable audit log with role-based overrides and the firm's business rules enforced in the structure itself.

  4. 04

    Progressiv AI portal

My day, agent map, invoicer, analytics, org tree, approvals and chat, with a weekly digest for leadership.

Platform features

How the system creates value in practice

Nine verticals, one brain

Bookkeeping, corporate tax, personal tax, insurance and risk, wealth management, fractional CFO advisory, mortgage, real estate and estate planning, all coordinated by one orchestrator.

Rules before prompts

Wherever a rule can be written as code, it is. A language model is used only where it earns its place, because a rule you can read is cheaper to audit than one you have to prompt.

A person approves

Agents draft, route and flag. Department heads approve in the channel they already use, and every action lands in the audit trail.

Vendor-proof by design

An MCP integration layer means tools and models can be swapped without rewriting the agents.
